Playful Language + Literacy

Play, Connect, and Read

Supporting language, literacy and social connection through meaningful play for children across Atlanta, GA.

Children and a teacher play a game of limbo in a classroom, with adults and children taking turns to bend under a stick, smiling and laughing.

Playful Language + Literacy

Play, connect and read.

Playful Language teaches early literacy skills to children ages preschool-second grade through meaningful play using hands-on activities to increase learning. These engaging experiences can help children improve reading, spelling and written language skills. Children work individually or in a small group with a pediatric speech-language pathologist who specializes in literacy and language in a fun and playful way. Sessions are thoughtfully designed to help children build confidence and independence.

What We Offer at Playful Language + Literacy

Welcome! I’m Amy.

Hi! I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist who loves bringing language and literacy together to help kids learn with confidence.

In following a science of reading based scope and sequence, I use multi-sensory and movement-based activities to increase progress and fun!

I partner with families to determine goals and build skills step by step; while sharing practical strategies you can use at home following weekly sessions.

My ultimate goal is to help your child grow into a confident, successful and motivated learner.
