Amy Wilensky, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Amy is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who loves teaching literacy and language primarily to children in preschool through 2nd grade. Her work focuses on building strong literacy, language, and learning skills in an active and engaging way.

Amy has experience supporting children of all ages with language disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. She has completed training through Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE) and follows a structured scope and sequence grounded in the Science of Reading to teach foundational literacy skills.

She provides individualized one-on-one sessions held twice weekly, small literacy groups, and school readiness camps with a focus on teaching literacy and language skills through playful, structured learning experiences.

As a mom of two daughters, Amy understands how important it is for children to feel successful, capable, and excited to learn. Throughout her sessions, she follows the child’s lead within thoughtfully structured activities and uses play and flexibility to increase engagement and motivation. She loves partnering with families to provide education and supportive strategies that can easily be carried over at home.
